* { font:inherit; } Please contact Kim (RedFernAnimalShelter@netscape.com) for more information about this pet.Lexie had a date with death on June 29, but we're happy to report that she missed it!  Her mother is a beautiful Springer Spaniel, and she hasn't told us who the father is.  Judging from the variety in the litter, he could have been a Labrador Retriever or a Blue Heeler or a mix of the two.  Lexie is as delightful as can be!  She loves people, and she's just a great all-around puppy.  She was born on May 6, and she is spayed and up to date on shots, Frontline Plus, and Heartgard Plus.  She's ready for her forever home with a good person.    Lexie weighs 14.8 pounds, and she is as colorful in personality as she is in appearance.  She has a Heeler look with blue speckles on parts of her body and tan speckles on others.  She is a beauty!  She is also a thief!  If you’re not careful, she will steal your sunglasses, your cellphone, your flipflops, and….your heart!  Her favorite place is in anyone’s lap.  Her playfulness is matched only by her cuddle quotient. Update (9/5/09)  Lexie is as adorable as ever.  She now weighs about 35 pounds, and she is a natural retriever.  Lexie is alert, playful, and a great cuddler.  If you are looking for a beautiful puppy with a sweet nature, Lexie is your girl!   Lexie's adoption fee is $200.00.  If you are interested in giving Lexie a home, please fill out an application at www.redfern.petfinder.com and submit it online.  Thank you!
