Description
Scully is a coppery golden color with white markings. She weighs approximately 40 pounds. She, along with her brother, Sam, was rescued from a culvert near the Mississippi River. Their mother, who had also been dumped, was killed by a car. Scully had no contact with human beings for the first few months of her life. Her time with a mother was limited, too, and her socialization suffers for it. She has a gentle nature and soft, wistful eyes. She wants to be near people, and she craves affection enough that she will put her head against your leg if you aren't facing her. She will also take treats from your hand. Scully will only go to a home with an experienced dog person. She needs so much work, but we believe that she is worth it. She is a beauty just waiting to bond with someone.
