Maybe you've heard them? I'm a very patient young lady, but I finally grew tired of waiting for those girls to write something about me. I'm taking matters into my own paws. Here goes...I'm a small Pit Bull Terrier, and I'm not going home with just anyone. The first person who had me didn't take very good care of me. He (or she) kicked me around some and then dumped me at a gas station. In spite of such horrendous treatment, I am a people lover. I need someone who realizes what a precious being I am--someone who won't ever let anything bad happen to me again. If you're that kind of person, I'm that kind of girl!Update (July 8, 2008) Although Sara has been on heartworm prevention ever since she was a puppy, she tested positive for heartworms. She completed her second treatment today, and she is doing well. Sara will be healthy again soon, and she can't wait to find a home with a special person. Sara's adoption fee is $200.00.
